Hi frz, my problem is very serious. Plz help me. Problem is-
i have compaq presario cq61-132tu laptop. When i purchased it, windows vista home basic 32-bit operating system was already installed. Now i want 2 install windows xp professional sp2 in it. But i didn't succeed. Whenever i insert windows xp or windows 2ooo cd in my laptop's dvd writer n boot from it, d installation starts just 4 few minutes. It stops before d setup shows d disk partition information. An error screen displays saying (not actual words but theme) "some hardware or software changing r going to happen n it can damage ur system". N an error is shown somwhat as- 0000x0101101. But my windows cds n dvds r ok n i hav many copies. I installed windows several times in my pc thru that discs. Tell me how can i install windows? Where can i find out drivers of my laptop 4 xp? On hp site only few drivers are given 4 xp n 2k such as wireless assistant, optical drive. No sound, chipset, bluetooth etc. So if i eventually got success in xp installation wid ur great help then where these drivers will be available? Also my laptop bios has no option like sata- enhanced or legacy. Plz help me my frz.
