Default Windows XP and "devldr32.exe"?

What exactly is the "devldr32.exe"? I just got rid of it from my computer because I was having problems and I heard it was a virus. (Plus I don't like things that sound like "Devil Doctor" running on my brand new compy.)

What exactly are the types of errors it would cause?
I had been getting BSOD's but I wanna know if that file was related to it or not.

Thanks

I read that, but I also read some stuff saying it was a virus.
And I've been getting lots of BSOD's lately, so I didn't know if that was from this or not.
Is there any possiblity that it could be a driver conflict or something that would cause a BSOD?

I just thought of something, my network driver had been giving me problems, could that be a reason to be getting BSOD's?
