windows xp 64 bit

Dudes... my processor does 32 and 64 bit and it has 32 bit vista on it.... i am tired of vista messing up... so i want to put XP on it... what about the 64 bit version? would it be any better?
any faster?
what would the differences be?

A word of advise. Make sure all your programs will work. My antivirus antispyware and firewall are werent able to work in 64 bit mode. So just make sure anything you want to use is supported. A benefit of the 64 bit architecture is the supported memory. A big plus.
 
First, I hope your system includes 64-bit drivers, because the 32-bit drivers will never work on a 64-bit OS. Ass for applications, they use what it's called a WOW64 to emulate 32-bit apps. It works and on some, it doesn't, but software giants, like Avant, VMWare, etc includes 64-bit applications.

Make sure your system has 64-bit drivers though...that's all you need really.
