Default windows vista user accounts

I'm set as the admin for my computer (I'm the only one who uses it) but vista is refusing me access to certain files and folders in C: . For example it won't let me add / remove files to folders in the program files folder. How can I gain full access to my computer.

Default Re: windows vista user accounts

First of all turn UAC off. Its the most useless thing in Vista.

For certain folders, right click>properties>security tab. Adjust the settings accordingly.
