Windows says it can't check for updates. Okay so I try to do it manually through internet explorer by going into tools then windows update and nothing comes up. Any ideas why it will not let me check for updates? Also it won't let me go into my control panel. Cannot figure why it's doing this. I don't not have any viruses or anything, it started doing this yesterday. I tried going into my computer then going into install/delete programs and go into windows update stuff, but will not let me go there. I tried restoring to an earlier date and windows reapir, nothing it wont work, please help me, I do not want to reinstall windows.
