vista is not going 2 require a new monitor plain and simple. Microsoft hasn't mentioned anything about a monitor in their basic requirements list. and i think if it would make that big of an impact they would mention it. that what i think, vista is not going 2 make u buy a bunch of new shit and it's gunna b plunty reliable and backwards compatible. also u can buy jumpdrives and use them as ram! i wouldn't worry much about having low ram although i wouldn't run a system with any less than 512MB of ram on vista.
