what's the error message that you get whilst trying to delete it?
is the trouble that the windows folders have ownership assigned to a different user than the account that you're trying to use?
you can see this by right clicking on the folder and looking at the permissions, it could be that you only have read permissions on the folder, you'll need to assign yourself new permissions to the folder and tell it to apply the permissions to all files and subfolders as well...
if you;re not the file owner then you're going to need to take ownership of the files and subfolders as well.
