Windows Movie Maker Subsitute?

I need a free substitute for the Vista version of Windows Movie Maker. Mine keeps shutting down without warning every hour and can't do anything without not responding and restarting. I need something that has all the features, at least, that Windows Movie Maker has. Can hold a lot of imported media too.
