Default windows media center HELP!!

i am trying to build a media pc for my room. i wanted to use windows media center but was wondering since i do not have a cable box in my room, i only have the coax cable coming from the wall, will WMC accept that through a tv tuner card.

i wanted to to have a small media pc with the coax cable connected to the tv tuner and then the video card conected to my tv through an RCA. the media pc will be used for what WMC was made for music, photos, movies, and recording tv shows. any help greatly appreciated.

yes it will. as long as u have the coax cable port in the tuner it will. if the coax cable is connected to a tv (which it most likely is) than u will be able to do that. I just got my media center pc and i use the coax cable

IMO, if you are an experienced pc user, media center is a waste of time.
