Default Windows Media Center

I have recently purchased a PC with Vista Home Premium and when I try TV in Windows Media Center it doesnt play it gives a black screen. I have downloaded the software it asked me to but still nothing is there anything anyone can recommend.

What is the make/model of the tuner card. I have a tuner card and XP Media Center Edition 2005, but apparently all analogue tuner cards won't be recognized by Media Center.

Have a look in device manager, it should be listed in there.

I have a driver called
Hauppauge WinTv-HVR 67xx Capture Device
Is this it.

yah, thats your tv tuner card..... it should work with media center.... i dunno....

go in media center and go into options and try reconfiguring the tv card
