Default Windows ME explorer problem

I'm having this problem on my laptop with Windows ME. Whenever I start it up, a dialog box comes up saying that explorer has caused a problem in <unknown>. Everything I click ignore or exit the box, it pops up again. It also affects other start up items bringing up more error messages in the other programs. So I have a feeling there is something wrong with the startup, but I'm not exactly sure how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Go here and get Trev's Tweaks for Win ME, print it out so that you can work your way through it. This is the best tweak guide for Win ME... http://www.burzurq.com/forum/trevtweak.html

On the same website here's another useful tool delindex.bat for Win ME. http://www.burzurq.com/forum/delindex.html

I used both of these when I had the misfortune to use Win ME...

Wombats do it in the dark.
