Media Center Edition is good if you're plannin to build a HTPC, but for normal computing, keep Home Edition.

Linux is useless????? You've stated a use for it!!! It's way better than winDOS, but anyway this isn't about Linux, it's about deciding if Microsoft have managed to make an OS worse than XP Home, and yes they have and they called it Media Center Edition. Ahhhh, i feel much better now! ;-) lol
