Default Windows Dialer

I currently run windows xp professional and I have had to re-instal it due to system issues.

The problem I have now is that after I have installed my broadband (Tiscali) usb modem it does not work.

This has happened before and I had to take it to a shop to get it sorted but I have no idea what they did. They said something along the lines of 'the system has no dialer' they managed to fix the problem. Has anyone come across this? When I try to manually set up the internet connection it blanks out two of my options when I get as far as the 'How do you want to connect to the internet'

Please help as I cannot connect to the web

Thanks for any help offered, hope the above makes sense.

have you installed the drivers for your modem?
Hard work has a future, laziness pays off now. ;)
