Default Windows Backup Fails 0x80070002

This one has got me completely stumped.

I have Windows Backup set to run automatically every night. Occasionally, it fails with error code 0x80070002. When I run the backup manually, it completes successfully. I ran a quick chkdsk and it found no bad sectors. Any ideas?
