Default Windows 7 Upgrade

I'm want to upgrade my computer to Windows 7 but on the system requirements I have all except this.. DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver.

What is that? Is it something i can download and install easily onto the computer after installation? If i don't have that will the OS not work properly?

You probably just need to upgrade your video card to something a bit more current.

But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

You'll still be able to use Windows, just without the Aero effects.
