Default Windows 7- Standby takes longer than Vista

I recently installed Windows 7 and I love it, but i noticed that the computer now takes longer to go into standby than it did with Vista. In Vista, after i clicked standby, the computer would go into standby mode almost immediately. With 7, it takes quite a bit longer. Anyone know how I can make standby as quick as Vista again?

I'm assuming you did the upgrade?

Not much you can do. Maybe try changing ACPI to a different version in your BIOS would help but I doubt it.
