My computer has a single-core AMD Athlon 64 3500+ at 2.2 GHz with 2.5 GB RAM with Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Runs better with x64 than with x86, I've found. And I've only used 33% of my RAM during normal usage. Runs OK, but if I were you, I would upgrade my processor to a dual core and get some more RAM, but the processor upgrade is more important.
