In my experience.. Using programs such as AutoCAD with 2 gigs of memory, running XP... I would constantly run out of memory and have to close my program, risking it crashing. 50% of the time i would lose my work. I then would be forced to restart or will be going through this process in a few minutes.
Running the same computer with windows 7, I haven't ONCE gotten a display telling me I have ran out of memory. This amazes me
