Windows 7 and Error 1606

Everytime I try to install software this is the error code I get........

Error 1606.Could not access network location//slargesgateway/d/from slarges dell/documents.

Slargesgateway is a computer on my home network and the "D" drive is not connected!!

Check where your "My documents" folder is mapped to, or if you have any other mapped network drives - if they're not connected get rid of them, and then try again.

If that doesn't help...

- What software are you trying to install?
- What OS are you running?
- Are there any mapped network drives?
- Does the software install successfully when the network drive is connected?
