what are your general opinions on it?

im running home premium x64 and its a big upgrade from vista HPx64. i was quite suprised it let me run games as old as Quake II, when vista didnt even let me run the suffering.

I think it's a huge step up from Vista. The whole OS feels snappier, is more responsive and even looks better. Even the bells and whistles are actually useful this time. Nice...
