why would they charge shipping for cd's those greedy people over at microsoft have ENOUGH money as is geez i dont wont to waste my time downloading it though. how big is it anyways?

Sort of the upgrade to 2k3. I can now use it, as I have found the damn srouce of lock ups.

Well, 2k8 is built on the Vista Kernel, just now, they are using the additional server stuff along with a couple of things. Now, you can modify the stuff you add in. Like, you can install Aero, and stuff like that on an optional selection list.

if it is built on the same kernel then why not just put the vista name in it

microsoft windows vista server edition

they already got 4 different editons might as well make another
