Default Windows 2000 log in

Is there any way, as an administrator, to restrict what types of users can log in (i.e. user groups defined in the active directory)?

Also, is there any way I can restict the way they can log in...meaning, when they try to log in, can I make it that they can only log on to a company's domain, rather than being able to select NAME(This Computer)?

Keep in mind this is Windows 2000. Thanks!

I have and I'm not really sure of what I would be looking for to restrict the logins.
