You dont need to time it right, just keep pressing the right Fkey really fast as soon as you turn it on.....

I do, but I can't be asked to keep trying as I don't have time at the moment as I have mocks coming up.

Gonna try to use my friends recovery drive, if that doesn't work I may just get PC World to format it.

well good luck with that.
i'll note that you can actually on most motherboards just hold down the F key instead of spamming it.

Did you try F11 at boot up,could put an option to boot into load system,i had this happen on my HP lappy
