Default win 7 help

I have win xp pro and I have two programs that I use and need but they are just for win xp.

Now I am about to get win 7. and I here that it has a win xp Mode in it.

So I wont have to re buy the two programs that I use a lot.

Wen I go on Youtube to see videos that people made about the XP Mode in win 7. they say you have to Download two programs.

I thought everything you need for the xp mode will come in win 7.?????

Nope. XP Mode is only available for Windows 7 Professional and above, but does not come included by default (because not everyone requires it). You download Virtual PC from the Microsoft website along with a Windows XP virtual machine file. Once installed, it allows you to install and run programs using XP Mode.
