Following are the factors affecting that:
The USB Drive versions. USB 2.0 is way slower than USB 3.0
RAM and Processor speed of the System. You need higher RAM to get the job done faster.
The brand of the USB. Cheap drives are less likely to support a good transfer speed. Prefer a branded one.
