Default Why have I not found this sooner

Maybe I'm just in the dark here, or maybe there are more like me who don't know. Check out Ninite - Install or Update Multiple Apps at Once.

It lets you create an installer for all kinds of freeware software. Then that installer is all you need to install. There are give or take around 40 different things you can include in the installer (from Java & Flash to uTorrent & AVG). Then the installer works no matter when you made it - it always goes out and finds the most recent version of the software to install. It's really cool.

Don't take life too seriously -- no one gets out alive. Plus, who wants to arrive to the hereafter in pristine condition wearing a suit and tie?
I want to slide in sideways, worn out, used up, hair a mess, clothes tattered, & screaming, "Whooo! What a ride!"

Do you have to have a certain version of Flash or Java to use it?

Nope, works straight as a link.

Been using it for around a couple of months now, certainly means I can get on with other jobs in the shop :3

EDIT: The latest software bit I am not too sure on. Last time I used it, it downloaded AVG 2012 when I had downloaded AVG 2013 manually from AVGs site.

Wow. What a great find. As you say it is a pain having to download everything separately on a fresh install.

Thanks OP
