Arrow what specs should i look for

hi there.. i would like to put up my own photography and video editing services. and my concern is: what specs should i look for in a computer that can handle these services of mine. i don't want my computer hang whenever i render videos, etc. i'm looking forward for your suggestions. thank you.

Well apparently since your doing editing everyone here would recommend getting a Mac

I wouldn't.... Hate em. Can't stand their childish feel. That's not a slam to mac users...that's just how I feel about them. I just don't like them. I would build a PC for it. But that's ME.

I wouldn't buy a mac unless I won like the million dollar lotto. I would buy one then just because I CAN. Lol.
