Web Pages Only Load After Failing

I am running Windows XP and whenever I try to open a url (i.e, www.google.com) a message pops up and tells me that is can not be found. But if I just go to mu url window and reload it, it comes up fine... Any ideas? I am going through a D-Link router using Verizon DSL.

try a different browser try resetting ur router or contacting ur ISP
