Default w7 randomly freezes and doesnt startup properly...

hello. i havent been on in well over a year, but this problem started happening suddenly...

sometimes when i log onto my desktop with w7 it will freeze within 10 seconds. so i will turn it witg power button, turn it back on and it will do different things.. sometimes it will want to repair startup (sometimes it freezes doing that too) other times it will go black with curser. or it will worj fine and then freeze. i have been reading and people are not sure what it is exactly. possibly harware probs or driver probs or voltage prob duno.....

anyone have this happen or ideas?

I think the problem is with your hard drive or power

What brand is your Power Supply? Do you have parts to swap with internally to rule out hardware?

Does the board have onboard video? Do you have two or more sticks of RAM? It's something to start with.
