I was kinda hopeing for a big difference to be seen, I want to get vista so my computer will recgonize that I have 4 gigs of ram and now 3.3 like xp maxes it out at. But I do not like how vista runs at all.

I wish they would have just made Windows XP Home Edition 2, can only wish though : (

Vista will run fine on your computer. I would install it if I were you.

Aren't they releasing Service pack 3 for XP at the same time as they release service pack 1 for vista.

Yup.

And vista shouldnt bog your computer down much. You have 4gbs of ram, and a nice processor. You wil be ok. Mine has only 2gb and its good. Just make sure you get x64.

Fine. I havnt noticed a MASSIVE speed increase... and there's not much by the means of anything changing... So not a massive difference.
