Default Vista Erasing Application Request

Can anyone recommend a free application that securely wipes files in Vista?

I cannot use Eraser from Heidi as it plays up on my system for some reason.

Any alternative? And something that allows me to right click on trashcan and files to choose erase?

Thank you.

That is not what I am after.

I want an application where I can right click on file(s) and choose to delete, and an application that adds itself to the trashcan with right click.

Does anyone else know of anything?

The latest version of crap cleaner has a wipe function. Get it from www.filehippo.com. It's kinda slow but does the job rather well.

CCleaner does have a secure file deletion feature, and you can add it the the recycle bin. I'm not sure how it works though.

The free version of PGP has a secure file deletion for OSs up to XP. I'm not sure how well it would work with Vista. It may be worth a try.
