Vista Crashed. NEED Files! Help?..

Hmmm, Well, I was running windows vista on my laptop, and a few days ago, it froze, I restared my computer and windows won't boot. I put my HDD in an external case, and can get to everything but my files.

Anyone know of any possible way of getting my stuff?..

If you can get hold of Bart PE, burn it to disk and boot the crashed machine from disk drive using your bart pe disk.
then you can use explorer to copy your files over to an external drive.

I recovered files from a burned out vista machine using Puppy Linux from a flash drive once, could be an option.
