Its probably cause of its size I get the same rating with my 74Gb raptor...

hm, cause I have another Sata hookedup (WD 160gig sataII)

and that also runs a lil slow.

w.e for christmas im getting a q6600 and a asus maximus formula, if my raptors still slow im calling wd.

My raptor comes out at 5.6. Its probably to do with the size like mentioned above. Also worth mentioning that im running a Q6600 and asus maximus formula already, so thats not going to improve your HDD performance.
