Video screen capture help?

I am looking for a program that will..well video capture my pc screen.like frapps but not 200$. Anything free? Nothin spectacular. just something I can record my gameplay and watch it..so I can take notes ony my gameplay.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I don't know if it captures game play but I use ScreenCast-O-Matic and I can vouch for it. Simple to use outputs to a couple different formats and never nay problems.

That's an online recorder. You could interfer with your online gaming.
