Default 'Unexpected Shutdown'.

recently, ive been getting some 'unexpected shutdowns'.

This is illustrated by reliability monitor, it shows the frequency better than i can explain it.

the first critical event was an 'improper shutdown' which i dont recall, since i always turn off my PC properly. the next red X is when RTCWolfenstein stopped working, this is repeated three times 'WolfSP.exe stopped working'. The next red X is 'Windows Stopped working' followed by 'unexpected shutdown'. The final red X occured just now while i was downstairs, and is the only 'critical event' in the log. The most recent unexpected shutdown shows this as additional info:

any help?

Default Re: 'Unexpected Shutdown'.

well, ive narrowed it down to a hardware issue, since it shut itself down again and the whole room started smelling of fried electronics.

a bit of further analysis prooved that it was wafting from my GX650 PSU.

ive put my old shitty PSU back in and it seems (for now) to be running ok.

time will tell.
