Hey guys! I got a problem... today my friend knocked my Acer Aspire One d260 off the desk. Nothing happened but it was starting Ubuntu at the time. Now after this Ubuntu refused to start, no matter what I tried. I ran in safe mode, etc. but NOTHING works D: Please tell me some way that I can fix this from Windows 7 32bit

Thanks!

I'd start by booting up from the Ubuntu installation disc, make sure that the computer itself is working okay.

If so, then you might be able to do a repair installation of Ubuntu.

Thanks for the response, but I just realized that I installed it using Wubi, which installed it without using a partition........ because I have Snow Leopard on here too :p. Would I still use the installation disc?

Thanks!

If you have wubi installed you can always uninstall Ubuntu from the add/remove programs menu and start over. Using a livecd won't really do much in this case because all it will show you is that you can boot from a cd. Since as you mentioned there ins't a partition you can't really scan a partition for problems and then fix them.
