Yep, it will be released in October. 7.04 came out in April. I can't wait for Gusty. The next release after gusty is a LTS release.

Yeah, I wonder if the LTS will use the new linux kernel. I know that 7.10 will not. I thing they will end up using it so more hardware is supported with their LTS release.

Ah, thanks. Now another question... when upgrading Ubuntu, do I need to order a new disk or will the upgrade be delivered via the web like a Windows Service Pack?

If you are upgrading to 7.10 from 7.04 you will either...

A. See a software update telling you the newest version of Ubuntu is available.
B. Type in sudo apt-get dist-upgrade....or something like that.

I am not sure. I don't have to worry about it bc I have a USB mouse.
