Default Two systems, one box, simultaneous. Possible?

Hi, I was curious if it was possible to run multiple workstations off one pc. One system wouldnt need to be very strong, only used to play movies and music on the tv. The other would need most of the resources.

To clarify, I'm talking about one pc with two monitors, mice, and keyboards. Able to run at the same time and access the same hard drives.

I've seen this done, but it requires two keyboards, two mice, two monitors etc to do so.... About all i can add to this.
