Unhappy Tv tuner software

can someone please help me figure this out I have a TV-Tuner Philips 7134-Chipset: PC-Combo Modem/TV-Tuner CTX908, TV-Tuner CTX910 that's what my computer's mfg. says at least... I have the cable hooked up to it.. now.. ?? do I need a certain program to watch tv on.. or how do I do it

I don't care if I have to pay for the program.. just need to know what software I need to get to utilize my tv tuner.. and no I don't have media center

Usually your tv tuner card will come with software that will allow you to view/record tv. There are other applications out there that will work as well. BeyondTV is one. SageTV is another. A free one that I use is GB-PVR.
