Default transfer program to laptop from desktop

hi. small problem. have a dc rom in my desk computer w/ windows me, and i need to tranfer that disc to a laptop w/ win98. laptop only has diskette. can i use a usb? any ideas ???? thanks,p

wondering if i could somehow use 9 pin port? on side of laptop and back of computer?

and, i believe laptop is usb1.0...can i use usb 1.1+2.0? thanks, p
