ok so lately if i try to download any torrents, Utorrent stops after a while with an error about the file being in use. And I'm not using it anywhere esle. Try to restart the download, goes a few more percent, stops again.
If I keep telling it to start, it crawls up a few percent at a time, stops, i tell it to keep going........... and I get it done that way. But its so.darn.annoying!

anyone else have any problems, or how the heck i can fix this?

Is there a virus scanner or something in the background? It's possible that's kicking in to scan it every so often which is causing Utorrent problems.

well I'm downloading them with firefox and it always seems to scan them i guess....

firefox scans the torrent file that you download. not the file that the torrent file is linking to that you are downloading with the torrent app.
