Time problem on Vista

I've recently had time syncing problems on my Dell XPS running Windows Vista. This didn't occur when I first bought it and started to happen about a year and a half after I purchased it and i'm just unsure what's causing this to happen. Is there a solution for this? Very much appreciated

Are the time and date close to the right time, if it isn't it provents syncing for security reasons

I have had this countless times on many different windows machines.
How I tend to fix it is to install an alternative to the default windows time sync. Netime, it's great. Only thing is.. It was discontinued and I am unsure that it runs on vista.
