Talking Is there a movie manager

Currebtly I have my computer attached to my tv with all my movie backup in avi, mpeg, etc format. I was wondering if there is a library program out there that has a list of movies and information about them and can play the movie. Just so when I'm not home my parents who are computer illiterate can find a movie and read a bit about it, maybe check out a trailer and then just hit play. Currently now I go to imbd to just give them information on the movie then navigate to the movie folder and click play. I'm not to picky if the movies play in program or it just prompt another program I'm just interested to see what's out there for this kind of stuff.

Movieneizer (or something like that, not on my desktop) It's GREAT! Only problem is you have to import all your movies for the first time. Took me a long time... spent about an hour a day over a week or so... but it has ALL of the information you'll ever need. It was about 30$
