Default Are there any hour-clocking software that shows your time used in specific programs?

Is there a software or program that gives data on the amount of time a certain application has been on? (Not just a one-time thing-- but every time it's been turned on since the program/software was installed on the computer)

I would like to use this to see how many hours I have put into some of my programs.

Does anyone know of one (if one[surely?] exists)? Free ones are always appreciated
