Default Task Manager: Priority Setting

Well When i play guild wars, i set its setting as high. But then it started lagging, so I go look. And it says low. I can still change it to anything, but it swaps back to low. Why is it doing this, and what can i do about it?

Well if it thinks your computer can only handle low, then it will automaticly change it, EVERY time.
