I have 512MB of ram and my HD is 1/4 full of 40GB.
I am suspicious with my virtual memory default settings; believing that the settings are hindering my laptop's capable speed.
I do have Norton Antivirus 2005 which i know takes a lot of resources.
What virtual memory settings would be recommended? After deleting all partitions on my HD i did notice a big change in speed, but i believe that it can still go faster.
I know that an upgrade to 1GB can help tremendously, but id like a substitue for the mean time.
