During a recent job I was working, a client removed a Brother printer driver from the server, and restarted, and he was getting the Blue Screen of Death:
"***STOP 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0xEB8A5BC1, 0x00000000, 0x0000000C)
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED"
This was on a Windows 2000 Server machine, and I've been unable to revive it to normal function. I did a safe mode boot to try to find ntstatus.h (the file that references the codes in the error) and I was unable to find it. I booted from the 2000 CD, and did a fixboot, fixmbr, chkdsk, and still no change in the error. The error itself is occuring when the status bar on the Windows 2000 Server bootskin reaches 2/3rds or so.
Any clues?
