I sometimes have a problem with desktop icons for Steam games, where the desktop icon has no icon assigned and is just the default file icon. Yet when I view properties of the shortcut it shows the proper icon in the corner.
Also I use the PHP Designer 2007 program to edit php files. I used to have it set where double clicking the php file would launch the default program for the .php extension. Now it doesn't do that as the .php extension isn't associated with any program for some reason. Trying to add PHP Designer 2007 as the default application for editing .php files doesn't work so I have to open the programs and the File -> Open the .php file I want to edit.
