Hi all, got a tower that does not want to run sims 3.
It has ran it before and worked fully with no probs but the past 2 weeks it has been crashing the whole system at a similar point on the game.
Now the strange thing is that even when the game is installed on a new user profile as a fresh isstall it still crashes.
Now I have checked using speedfan for temps and all seem normal. Have reinstalled drivers and managed to play games such as flisht simulator x fine on full settings so i doubt its an overheating issue.
BTW it does not matter what expantion of the sims is installed it will still crash.
The crash normally does not blue screen and just before it does it the screen will change different colours like someone is changing the hue and saturation levels.
Then it will crash and sometimes turn the screen into standby.
