should i use ntfs or fat32?

hello, i got a older pc (amd k-6 550 mhz...312 mb ram, 10 gb drive)...and i want to put xp pro on it...should i use ntfs or fat32?...also i tired fat 32 and install froze on registering components..can anyone help, thanks

I wouldn't recommend XP Pro on that. You would not get any benefits from it over 2000. I would go with NTFS yeah, but do it by way of 2000 rather than XP Pro.

Also your signiture should be 5 lines if you don't mind

NTFS is the file system over FAT32.. FAT32 is older technology now.
